Birthdays

My sisters birthday just pasted. This girl is a hoot, and I love her for it. We are almost 10 years apart in age and we are light years apart in personality differences. She is a Georgia Graduate. When she left home for collage she vowed never to move back. and she has not. She comes home every blue moon. I am wishing the a very happy birthday. In the past she would celebrate her birthday for a whole month. This year has everyone locked in. Yet this to shall pass .She is staying in and being safe knowing she will be alive to celebrate next year. I love you sis, I got a surprise yesterday. My husband noticed baby fish in the tank.

Sense we have been home off the road we have started two aquariums. Last night he was looking for the red tail and noticed that one of the convicts was not coming out to eat. Well it was in the far back right corner watching over her babies. I have had a fish tank on and off since I started having babies. Any who, I was amazed at seeing all little ones. I’ve never had baby fish before. So, I remember hearing or reading some where about needing to separate them because the mama would eat them. I’m not going to bother them though. This is my first experience with having pits born to me and my husband. He calls them our babies. So We will just watch them closely and se what the parents will do.

Last week I noticed that the two allergy eaters where not cleaning the tank because the glass was getting dirty inside. I looked for the allergy eaters and only found part of one of there tails. Yes part of one , we had 2 of them in the tank Lord. We didn’t notice the baby fish over the weekend when Cole was here helping his granny clean the tank. I had believed the Red Tail killed the allergy eaters because they are very aggressive and territorial fish. But know I’m thinking the Convicts terrorized them if they got to close to nest that the eggs where in and the Red Tail finished the poor tank cleaners off because it was not wanted in any part of the tank. So if the Convicts are protecting the babies , they may not eat them. Looks like We are going to be getting a larger tank soon. Right?
